The Leon County Schools (LCS) are facing a projected budget shortfall of $12.5 million for the upcoming school year. Superintendent Hanna expressed disappointment and frustration with the level of funding for public schools. Hana states that the shortfall is attributed to several factors.

Operation Rabbit Hole – Internet Crimes Against Children (@-20.35)
The Tallahassee Police Department (TPD), in partnership with the Leon County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO), Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), FDLE, and the U.S. Marshal Service, conducted a three-day proactive operation called “Operation Rabbit Hole”. This operation targeted individuals who use the internet to exploit children and arrange to meet them for illegal sexual activity.
