Envision Credit Commitment to Second Harvest Will Continue

Monique Ellsworth, CEO, Second Harvest of the Big Bend

Community-based solutions succeed only when local institutions truly invest in their neighbors. At Second Harvest of the Big Bend, we’ve seen that commitment firsthand from Envision Credit Union. For years, Envision has been one of our most steadfast partners in the fight against hunger in Tallahassee and across the Big Bend. Through its Envision No Hunger campaign and matching-grant challenges, the credit union has helped us deliver hundreds of thousands of nutritious meals to children and families who need them most. Envision’s support goes well beyond writing checks. It rallies employees, engages members, and leads by example.

As Envision prepares to merge with Addition Financial Credit Union, I’m encouraged to see that spirit of service continues. Addition Financial shares the same community-first values, and together the combined credit union will have even greater capacity to support nonprofits like ours. For the families who count on a well-stocked pantry and a helping hand, this merger is more than a financial transaction. It’s a reminder of what’s possible when mission-driven organizations work together for the greater good.
