Leon County High School Volleyball Rankings

The latest MaxPreps high school volleyball rankings are out. The table pictured below is a ranking of the eleven Leon County schools that have indoor volleyball teams based on current record, overall rating and strength of schedule as shown in MaxPreps. The stats used in this edition of high school volleyball rankings were updated on MaxPreps through 9/21/2025.

Coming off their first loss of the season to Westminster Christian (8-7) on Sep. 19th, The Chiles volleyball team only fell one spot in the state rankings and remain the top team in the Leon County rankings with a record of 18-1 and a strength of schedule of 20.4. The Timberwolves acquired their only loss of the season in a two out of three-set format tournament at the Battle of the Beach hosted by Venice High School. Chiles ultimately won the silver division beating Middleburg in the final match in straight sets 25-18 and 25-22.

Although Florida High (9-2) lost a tough match to Leon (9-5) on Sep. 16, the Seminoles bounced back with a straight set win against Sneads on Sep. 18th with set scores of 25-6, 25-13, and 25-18. Florida High currently sits at second in the Leon County rankings with a tough matchup against Blountstown (10-7) on Sep. 25th. Last time these two teams met was the first game of the 2025-2026 season when Blountstown handed Florida High their first loss of the season. The Seminoles will be looking to get revenge with the help of the home crowd as they are hosting the Tigers.

Coming off of a three game winning streak, the Leon volleyball team is currently ranked third in the Leon County rankings. After their crucial away game win against Florida High, the Seminoles beat Lowndes and Madison County back-to-back in straight sets (two out of three). The Lions have multiple opportunities to prove themselves as they play top ranked teams including Chiles and Florida High on Oct. 1st and Oct. 10th, respectively.
