I left NPR several years ago. They are not on my vehicle preset radio button settings.
Comcast/Xfinity already impacted it when they removed WFSU from my Channel line up a while back. That is why I cancelled them, that was the last straw.
To Steve and TR: I listened to your interview on Preston Scott’s show today about the retaliation efforts due to TR coverage of TMH. Stand strong, and never let the haters of truth question your journalistic integrity.
I read/watch/listen to all news media venues in an effort to gain as much information as possible in order to weed out the BS and nonsense spin and make the most informed decision possible. On a local level, TR presents the most balanced, complete, and unbiased reporting in the area.
Stand firm on your charge and keep up the good work.
WFSU article says they are losing $2.8 million in funding and that will cause them to cut ‘several’ positions. Even if it’s 10-12 positions that’s like $250-280K per employee. Pretty good pay for public media.
