Leon County High School Soccer Rankings

The latest MaxPreps high school soccer rankings are out. The tables pictured below are the rankings for the boys and girls Leon County high school soccer teams based on current record, overall rating and strength of schedule as shown in MaxPreps. The stats used in this edition of high school soccer rankings were updated on MaxPreps through 12/18/2025. To be included in Maxpreps’ rankings, you had to have a minimum of five matches played.

Boys

Ranked first in our Leon County rankings are the Chiles Timberwolves. The Timberwolves are 6-3-1 with notable wins over Lincoln twice with scores of 4-3 and 2-0. Chiles’ lead scorer is Sal Giove (Jr.) with nine goals this season. Chiles has lost their last two games to Mandarin and Wakulla with hopes of breaking the losing streak against Suwannee on Jan. 8th.

Maclay ranks second with a record of 7-2-2. The Marauders drew with Chiles earlier in the season and went on a five-match winning streak before losing two matches in a row to Suwannee and Buchholz. Maclay’s lead scorer is Luke Daunt (Sr.) with 10 goals on the season. The Marauders next match up is against Jesuit on Jan. 9.

Lincoln falls into third place in the rankings with a record of 4-5-1. The Trojans have notable wins against Wakulla, Leon and Florida High. Lincolns lead scorer is Nihal Kalathil who has six goals on the season. Lincoln’s next match-up is against Leon on Dec. 19th.

Girls

Chiles is our top girls team in our Leon County soccer rankings with a record of 7-1-1 and ranked 18th in the state by Maxpreps. Chiles’ only loss is to the number one ranked team in the nation in Ponte Vedra. Chiles lost to Ponte Vedra by a score of 2-0 as the Sharks scored two goals in the second half. Since then, the Timberwolves have won five out of their last six games while drawing with Pensacola Catholic. Chiles’ lead scorer is Kendall Sadberry (So.) with 5 goals on the season. Chiles’ next match is against Creekside on Jan. 7th.

Florida High comes in ranked second with a record of 9-2. After losing two matches early in the season to Chiles and South Walton, the Seminoles have won 8 out of their last 9 games. Florida High’s lead scorer is Gabrielle Jeune (So.) with 14 goals on the season. The Seminole’s next match is a home game against Leon on Jan. 6.

Leon comes in third in the rankings with a record of 5-4. The Lions have notable wins over Wakulla and Maclay while having losses to Chiles, Florida High, and Mosely. Leon’s lead scorer is Peyton Boyd (Jr.) with 4 goals on the season. After a win against Arnold on Dec. 11th, Leon hopes to keep their winning streak going with a win against Lincoln on Dec. 19th.
