We are excited to announce the creation of the Tallahassee Reports Lunch Club.
We often have readers contact us to talk about local issues. Sometimes it’s a quick question about an item on an upcoming city or county agenda. Other times it’s more involved like an in-depth conversation about something they heard in the community. Either way, we love to hear from our readers.
However, we have found it’s more intimate to be able to speak in person. That is why we are introducing the TR Lunch Club. Through the TR Lunch Club we will have the opportunity to talk local issues to our readers in a more intimate setting.
How It Works
We will select an advertiser from our Local Cuisine Scene section of our newspaper and post on our website and social media platforms a time and location for the upcoming TR Lunch Club meeting.
Our plan is to be available to our readers to discuss the happenings around our community. Each person will purchase his or her own lunch, but any individual can join us for a lively discussion of the day. An area will be reserved for our group.
This is not only a way for us to give back to our readers, but it is also a way for us to support local businesses that support us. By doing so, it allows us to continue to bring Tallahassee and surrounding areas information that is not available anywhere else.
Tallahassee Reports is committed to bringing its readers information that is not only informative but also interesting to our readers, which is why we like hearing from you.
How can you help?
Join us for lunch and a lively discussion and share our TR Lunch Club events on social media. Once an event is posted, we will create an event on our Facebook page and tweet it through Twitter. Make sure you like our Facebook page or follow us on Twitter so you can share with your friends. Another way to help would be to visit any one of our Cuisine Scene advertisers at any other time and tell them you appreciate their support in Tallahassee Reports. At a time when investigative news is diminishing in Tallahassee, it is imperative that Tallahassee Reports stays strong and true to our readers.
