Leon County Commission District 3 Appears to be Headed for a Recount

The race for Leon County Commission District 3 is headed for a recount.

The unofficial results, listed below, show that Rick Minor finished with 8,234 votes or 50.43% of the total vote. Emily Fritz finished second with 5,443 votes or 33.3%.

Emily Fritz posted on her campaign Facebook that because the margin was “less than half of a percent, Supervisor of Elections Mark Early has determined this will trigger an automatic recount. Mr. Earley intends to make this recommendation to the Leon County Canvassing Board Meeting tomorrow.”
