Gas prices are falling across Florida and in Tallahassee. The current average price for regular unleaded gas in Tallahassee is $3.13 per gallon, down from $3.425 one year ago. Check out the trends below.
Donna Adelson made her first appearance before a Leon County judge Tuesday morning. Circuit Judge Jason Jones ordered Donna Adelson held without bond on the murder charge and ordered her not to have any contact with other co-defendants, witnesses or the victim’s family. Adelson, 73, is accused of conspiring with her son, Charlie Adelson, to murder her former son-in-law, FSU law professor Dan Markel, who was fatally shot in his Betton Hills garage in July 2014.
According to data provided to the FDOE, the Leon County Schools Out-of-School suspension rate is almost double the state average.

The 13th-ranked Florida State Women’s Basketball team begins its two-game slate at the Ball Dawgs Classic facing Northwestern today at 2 p.m. ET in Henderson, Nev. The winner of the FSU-Northwestern game will battle No. 4 Stanford or Belmont on Friday at 11:45 p.m. ET. The losers of the two games will play at 9:30 p.m. ET on Friday.

Florida Agriculture Commissioner Wilton Simpson has released the final project acquisition list for the Rural and Family Lands Protection Program, a ranked list of agricultural lands eligible for protection. Simpson helped secure $300 million in funding for the program as Senate President. As Agriculture Commissioner, Simpson later announced the opening of the 2023 application cycle for landowners.
The Seminole Tribe of Florida has relaunched its sports betting app to a limited group of people, nearly two years since it was shut down. The tribe plans to offer in-person sports betting at its casinos in early December.
Florida Rep. Ryan Chamberlain introduced a bill that would crack down on pronoun mandates and penalties in the workplace. It would protect employees and contractors from penalization and punishment by employers if they are required to use, or refer to others with, certain titles and pronouns that don’t correspond with a person’s biological sex.

A tacit admission that the gas prices of the Brandon administration are STILL higher than before his policies went into effect…..
The decline in fuel prices does make up for the increase in auto and home insurance plus property tax increases. Let’s Go Brandon.
