LOCAL NEWS

The latest employment report shows that the number of jobs in Leon County fell in December when compared to November. There were 157,699 people working in Leon County in December compared to November’s revised employment number of 158,184, a decline of 485 jobs.

A Tallahassee man set to stand trial this week in the shooting death of his ex-girlfriend entered a plea instead. Seventeen-year-old Marlacia Kitchen who friends and family called Lacy, was gunned down in her car in the parking lot of the Savoy at Southwood apartments back on October 24, 2022. A friend in the car with her was also shot that night but survived.

  1. Jibril Pled down to manslaughter and attempted murder for shooting Two People at least 42 TIMES and will only serve 15 Years? WTH? He should have been charged with Capital 1st. Degree Murder and Attempted Murder with the Death Penalty squarely on the Table, and THEN you plead him down to 1st. Degree Murder and Attempted Murder, Remove the Death Penalty and LIFE In Prison without a chance for Parole.
