Campaign documents indicate that an influential member of the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital Board of Directors, Sally Bradshaw, made significant donations to City Commissioner Jeremy Matlow’s mayoral campaign during a time when TMH and Florida State University were negotiating a deal to create an academic medical center in the Tallahassee.

The possible takeover of Tallahassee Memorial Hospital by Florida State University has sparked controversy. But Mayor John Dailey said the plan is nothing new.

  1. To Staff – School Board meeting Tuesday (28th) the minority spoke. The State set the tone and the Board heard a different choir. Jone’s supporters repeated the Straw Dog: “his right to Free Speech.” We all get that !
    Speakers requested from the Board and individual members for a response to Jone’s comments. They could’ve before the meeting was adjourned. But they didn’t.
    So- Safe to say, no Board member has any issues with Jones.
    Safe to say, we will never hear a response from an individual Board Member.
    Feckless -sums it up.
    Thanks to the many that notified the rest of us this meeting.
