Prime Meridian Bank to Open New Branch in Crawfordville

PMB_Logo_2cPrime Meridian Bank (Member FDIC), which currently operates two locations in Tallahassee, took the next step towards its expansion into Crawfordville.

On August 4, 2015, members of the Prime Meridian team participated in a ground breaking ceremony at the Bank’s Crawfordville Highway site.

The event was attended by members of the Wakulla County Chamber of Commerce, several Bank officers, board members and team members.

Prime Meridian Bank CEO and President, Sammie D. Dixon, expressed his thanks to the Wakulla community for the warm welcome the Bank is receiving.

The development of the new location will take shape in two phases. The first phase will be completed in September and will include the installation of a full-service, modular bank building, complete with drive-thru and SmartATM.”

The second phase will introduce a permanent branch building and will be completed in the Fall of 2016.

Susan Payne Turner, Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer, said “[w]e are bringing to Wakulla a locally-run, service-oriented bank that shows its commitment to community every day with every client.”

Prime Meridian Bank, which opened its first location in northeast Tallahassee off of Timberlane Road,  has built a reputation as a solid, locally owned, financial institution. The bank has consistently received a 5-Star Superior rating from BauerFinancial, Inc., Coral Gables, Florida.

BauerFinancial analyzes banks and credit unions and touts its independence by reporting that “No institution has paid us to rate it, nor can any institution choose to be excluded.” The 5-Star rating denotes the highest level of strength and performance a bank can receive.

  1. great news. wakulla is overdue for a bank to replace gulf state and wakulla bank and in need of an institution to provide financing for the latest late night infomercial house flipping bubble.
