Trulieve, one of the 13 companies the state of Florida has allowed to operate in Florida, is preparing to go public in Canada. Based on media reports, Schyan Exploration Inc. announced that it has entered into a non-binding letter agreement with George Hackney, Inc. d.b.a. Trulieve whereby the company and Trulieve have agreed to merge their respective businesses resulting in a reverse takeover of the company by Trulieve.

The transaction terms are subject to the parties successfully negotiating and entering into a definitive agreement. The final legal structure  will be determined after the parties have considered all applicable tax, securities law, and accounting efficiencies.

    1. Good research, News Maven. When I scanned the names, “Beshears” stuck out along with “Kim Rivers” – am I wrong or is she in some way connected to persons in the named net of the Tally FBI investigation?

During the past months perusing TR stories, there definitely appears to be a long-established, mutual-benefit network of Tallahassee political and business people, with family members and associates that are extensions of that network involved in nearly every facet of local influence. I guess it’s the same in every metro area, but here in Tallahassee the reek of “swamp” is almost as rancid as Washington.
