  1. Our newer vehicle was stolen from in front of our home which is back in the woods in the SE part of the county. Taken for a joy ride and left by the side of the road nearby. LCSO told us it was a gang, they were armed & they pretty much knew who they were. It was then the officers told us this had been going on in our area for several weeks…but no one in the area had been made aware via communications from LCSO or the media covering the “incidents”. Since our vehicle was recovered, we were told it would not be a high priority.
That was 3 months ago and we have heard nothing….no calls, no follow-up from law enforcement.
Looks like these thugs are working themselves back toward our area.

  2. Why does our police chief not report to the City Manager…?

Reporting from both sides of the political spectrum have shown clear deficiencies in our current structure.

  3. So I heard on this morning’s news 9.25.18 that Gillum’s mobile band of criminals hit the Buck Lake residential area last night robbing from 12 cars. The Highway Patrol is investigating. The Sheriff and Police Chief are allowing the criminals free reign over wealthy neighborhoods because the publicity would hurt Andy Gillum’s run for Governor. Sorry honkies no local enforcement till after the election. Thank God for the Highway Patrol.

  4. I think the city and Citizens need to look at who in the city Administration is over the TPD and kick them to the curb as soon as possible.

Is this individual obviously aligned with Gillum to withhold and restrict TPD from breaking out and doing their job as the chief sees fit? Is the chief restricted because of the incompetence at City Hall? At least on the surface I don’t believe there is any constructive assistance from the city Administration to TPD, only restrictive.

Apparently the city Administration is aligned with Gillum to withhold and do nothing so as not to bring attention to the crime problem, thereby ignoring and doing nothing and letting it get out of control to no end. The City commissioners need to call an emergency meeting and get to the bottom of it; callGillium out and Fire immediately who is aligned with Gillum to restrict citizens from the public safety they deserve.

Not only do the citizens of Tallahassee need to be informed of the significant crime problem in Tallahassee so, but the citizens of the State of Florida need to be informed. Meanwhile over at the Tallahassee Democrat the editor is asleep at the wheel.

    1. Leftists like Police Chief DeLao and Sheriff McNeil really do not need a Darth Vader type of secret mole in City or County government to order them to protect Gillum by ignoring crime until after the election. Both are fully vetted USA hateing leftists and they already know to do this without being told. That is a main foundation block which makes leftist governments as successful as they are.

  5. Does anyone know why a helicopter was buzzing around Tallahassee yesterday around 11 a.m. I know two police cars were tied up on Park Avenue at a traffic incident scene around 10:15 a.m. where a Star Metro van had hit a tree. Hope no one was hurt. I have not seen any notice of either of these two issues in the TD.

  6. It’s great that the City released this, but it doesn’t cover all the crime. It would be nice if the more serious crime numbers were released… assaults, battery, shootings, etc.

Needless to say, these crime issues are probably gonna be spun into why the City needs to raise taxes or institute another “service fee”. It just looks like they are starting to lay the groundwork. It doesn’t look like much is being done or talked about other than a “Lock your doors” tweet everyday.
