  1. Somebody needs to confirm these false numbers. Are you reporting the correct information or just what is supplied to you? Good reporting would verify the data before publishing it.

I signed up for this to get true and verified information. Go to the airport website and look at the Master Plan report. This airport has always inflated their numbers.

Go and read the financial data for this airport. The new Panama City Airport cut the traffic at this airport. Review the cost for the “International” improvements?

  2. Thank you for this report!

When I go to airports throughout the country I see professional large-scale advertising in the airport and I’m sure it accounts for a lot of revenue for that airport.

I was shocked when I was going through the TSA area in the Tallahassee airport to see little hand framed pictures of two law firms in Tallahassee I believe it was Parks and Crump and Pittman nailed up on the wall as if they took a picture of themselves framed it and nailed it up. Did they pay to use that space in the airport for advertising? Does Gary yordon pay the airport to put an ad of himself in the airport?

I would like to see a publication publish the actual contracts that these law firms and Usual Suspects made with the airport for advertising.

It should be a matter of public record. If they are just using the space free of charge at will with no professional contract Tallahassee needs to recover the funds and look into penalties and legal ramifications.

The airport is a very vital part of our community and we are involved with federal agencies and it is very inappropriate if not illegal for people to misuse their positions for personal gain regarding the airport.

The airport director should monitor this and if it is being misused he should report it to the proper authorities immediately. If the airport director is not doing this then we need to take action to rectify this.

When you are a misusing taxpayers infrastructure it hurts everyone

    1. Hope: I think one of the requirements for advertising at the TLH terminal is that you must be under suspicion of federal indictment.

      But I could be wrong…
