TR’s Weekly Crime Tracker: Sep. 12th -Sep. 18th

Information provided by the Tallahassee Police Department (TPD) shows that there were 84 property incidents and 13 violent incidents for the week of September 12th – 18th.

A regional breakdown of the incidents – based on TPD defined quadrants – shows that the Northwest quadrant of Tallahassee led the week with 42 property incidents and the Northeast quadrant led the week with 5 violent incidents.

During this period, city-wide, there were:

  • 41 Auto-Burglaries
  • 23 Auto Thefts
  • 16 Residential Burglaries
  • 3 Commercial Burglaries
  • 4 Aggravated Assault & Batteries
  • 1 Death Investigation
  • 5 Strongarm & Armed Robberies
  • 2 Sexual Batteries

TPD Quadrants

TPD reports the location of crime incidents based on “Beat Boundaries” and “Quadrants. The four quadrants are Northeast, Northwest, Southeast, and Southwest. The “Beats” included in each quadrants are shown below.
