Members Respond to Call, Invest in Killearn Country Club

Since Killearn Golf Properties, LLC (KGP) assumed operational control of the Killearn Country Club on February 1st, members of the club have responded positively to the call for financial support.

KGP is headed by Jimmy Graganella and Ron Tolliver.

According to KGP, the group is nearing its goal of raising $3.5 million dollars, which will be used over two years to rebuild facilities, add amenities, grow membership and make golf course improvement.

During the first week of offering investment opportunities, Killearn members have invested approximately $650,000 and more is expected.

“I could not be more proud of Killearn’s members,” said Graganella.  “They have shown incredible patience and loyalty through the worst period in the Club’s history.  Now, they are making significant financial commitments vital to the Club’s future.”

KGP still expects to close on the purchase of Killearn from current owner, Barton Tuck of Greenville, SC, in April.

During the construction period of approximately 24 months, the club is inviting non-members to play golf and learn about our future plans.

The private offering is expected to close before the end of February.  Anyone interested in receiving investment information should contact Killearn Country Club at 850-893-2186.

  1. I think Killearn has missed a great opportunity. Seminoles and Southwood are the only playable courses for non members in Tallahassee. With 27 holes Killearn could have designated 18 hole as semi-private. 9 holes left for members only.

    1. Scratch Seminole off the list of courses that will allow non-members to play. It is now an ultra-expensive, exclusive private membership club. So you have Southwood, Summerbrook, Hilaman and an improving Jake Gaither nine hole layout. Monday’s and Thursday’s at the “Jake” are a bargain for seniors. Golf the way it used to be.
