Murder Suspect Released on Bond Days Before Victims Disappeared

The man recently arrested and accused of murdering two victims, 75-year-old AARP volunteer Victoria Sims and the 19-year-old Black Lives Matter protestor Oluwatoyin Salau, was arrested twice at the end of May and released on bond from Leon County jail just days before it is believed these victims went missing.

On June 1, Judge Robert Plaines released Aaron Glee Jr., 49, on a $2,500 bond for his alleged aggravated assault on a woman May 29, 2020 at 4:44 p.m., according to court records. His reported address, according to the Arrest/Probable Cause Affidavit, was 2110 Monday Rd., Tallahassee.

According to the affidavit, Glee was arrested on May 29 for an alleged aggravated assault that occurred earlier in the afternoon at the intersection of S. Blair Stone Rd and Kay Ave.

According to the affidavit, when police arrived on the scene at 4:44 p.m. Glee was standing over a female, kicking her in the abdomen as she lay on her side on the S. Blair Stone Rd. sidewalk.

According to the affidavit, the alleged victim told police Glee asked her for a sexual favor and when she refused, he became angry, shoved her to the ground and began kicking her.

Glee told police he “helps the homeless” and brought the alleged victim food and drinks in the past. Glee told officers the woman offered Glee sexual favors and he purchased liquor to give her. He said she changed her mind about the sex act. He denied kicking or hurting her.

Glee was also arrested on May 28 for allegedly punching a man after an argument “regarding racial differences” at a bus stop on the corner of S. Magnolia Dr. and Governor’s Square Blvd.  He was charged with battery touch or strike

Salau was last seen on June 6. Sims was last seen on June 11. They were both found dead on Saturday, June 14 on Monday Rd. Glee was arrested sometime after that.

  1. An Inconvenient Truth:

It is not Law Enforcement that needs to be reformed or re-imagined. Indeed there are process and procedures that need to be adjusted or tweaked as time progresses. But what Law Enforcement is in most need of… is to be followed and respected. “Law and Order” is the very foundation of a civil society. What we are witnessing today from this Democrat-financed anarchy is the complete antithesis of that.

It is the black community and culture that needs to be reformed and redirected. The black community needs to return to its core belief in family and the family unit, and also to be redirected back to its long history of faith and belief in Christ. For far too long, far too many within the black community have surrendered their individualism, and have allowed themselves to be come wards of the state. They have been fed the lies of “systemic racism” and “government dependence” by Democrat and Republican politicians (white, black, or otherwise) and the Media conglomerates. Man does not give your your rights nor your standing in life. Your rights are inalienable and come from God… and your standing in life is completely in your control… no matter the color of your skin. As Dr. King so wisely proclaimed… it is “the content of your character” that matters, not the “color of your skin”.

  2. Connie, I agree! Judge Plaines needs to be held reponsible. For $250.00 bail money, this thug bought his ticket to freedom to attack more women and kill two. If we are going to hold our police officers responsible then we should hold judges responsible.

  3. This is truely truely so so sad these beautiful women did not deserve this and how could the judge just release this mad man right I mean right back into society that easerly wow wow UNBELEAVABLE SOMETHING is not right with this at all this should never had happened I’m praying for there Families they did belong to someone even if he said he meet one as Homeless it doesn’t matter

  4. Looks like he kicked the girl on Blairstone in front of the cop because he wanted the security of prison life again. Well the Judge did not give him what he wanted.
It is not coincidence that he placed the 2 bodies near his home on Monday Street with enough evidence to lead the police right to him.
Prison may have been some of the best days of his entire life and he wants to return there.
    Sad…so sad.

  5. @Cindy Johnston, maybe about the same time we teach people not to steal, assault, kill, etc? Oh, and women beat up men, so there’s that – oh, and then there’s the bit of females beating female partners. No one should be stealing, beating, or killing – and women need to get a gun to level the playing field when someone stronger/more agile tries to hurt them.

  6. Women are at the bottom of the list when it comes to protection in this godforsaken country. Doesn’t matter what your age is, your color, your social status. When are men going to stop and just leave us be?

  7. This just sounds off. It makes no sense as to why he would kill these women. Then to put their bodies together??
    It does not add up.

  8. Looking at twitter, people are mad at the police for stopping an alleged murderer, McDade, and now not stopping an alleged murderer, Glee.

  9. Does anyone know how Glee got to these two women…..I mean according to what I just read he did not make good impressions with women at all. So please look deeper into this before we gobble this up as truth and case closed.

    Thank you,
