Weekly Report Ending Nov. 29th: Leon COVID Cases,Hospitalizations Down, Positivity Rate Up

TR’s weekly report (November 22-29) on Leon County COVID cases, hospitalizations, and testing positivity rates is detailed below.

The weekly report, ending November 29th, shows a decrease in cases and hospitalizations and an increase in the positivity rate. The positivity rate remains below 5%.

The Numbers

The Leon County 7-day average (yellow-line) of reported COVID cases moved from 103 cases on November 22nd to 99 cases on November 29th, a 4.0% decrease.

The Leon County 7-day average (yellow-line) of reported COVID hospitalizations changed from 38 on November 22nd to 36 on November 29th, a 5.2% decrease.

The Leon County 7-day average (yellow line) COVID positivity rate changed from 4.38% on November 22nd to 4.70% on November 29th, a 7.3% increase.

  1. This clearly shows that lock downs have little or no effect on the virus. Just on the economy and jobs. So many small businesses will never reopen.
