Weekly Report Ending March 14th: Leon COVID Cases, Positivity Rate, and Hospitalizations Down

TR’s weekly report (March 8 – March 14) on Leon County COVID cases, hospitalizations, and testing positivity rates is detailed below.

The weekly COVID report, ending March 14th, shows decreases in new cases, the positivity rate and hospitalizations.

Since the middle to the end of January 2021, the charts below show the significant downward trend in the three indicators.

The Numbers

The Leon County 7-day average (yellow-line) of reported COVID cases moved from 52 cases on March 7th to 37 cases on March 14th, a 28.9% decrease.

The Leon County 7-day average (yellow-line) of reported COVID hospitalizations changed from 45 on March 7th to 30 reported on March 14th, a 33.3% decrease.

The Leon County 7-day average (yellow line) COVID positivity rate changed from 3.1% on March 7th to 2.5% on March 14th, a 19.4% decrease.

  1. All three of these metrics are the lowest they’ve been in 8 months and with thousands of vaccines rolling out every week in the county it’s time to put this plandemic to rest already.
