The historic Maclay House will be open for tours and decorated with fresh Christmas greenery.

Home Fur the Holidays – Pet Adoption Event

What you’ll get: Give the gift of a new start, a happy home, and a loving family this holiday season at Proctor Subaru’s Home Fur the Holidays pet adoption event. Join Proctor Subaru as they partner with the Leon County Humane Society to help homeless animals find their “furever” home. Bring your furry friend to take free holiday family pictures. Volunteers and foster families from the Leon County Humane Society will have dogs looking to match with their future families.


Andy’s Room at the Leon County Public Main Library

Market Days

What you’ll get: Market Days is one of the Southeast’s largest and best-juried arts and crafts shows, featuring the unique, handmade creations of over 300 artists and top-quality artisans and craftspeople. The works include fine arts, ceramics, country furniture, stained glass, and more. This event is volunteer-run, and all proceeds go to support the Tallahassee Museum.

Grove Winter Open House

What you’ll get: In celebration of the winter season, join The Grove Museum for an open house with festive decor, special programs, and seasonal treats! The Early Learning Coalition of the Big Bend will be hosting a Stroll and Read on Grove grounds during this event. Those who participate in the different reading stations will be able to choose a free children’s book to add to their library. Great for children ages 0-8 years old. Storytime at The Grove Museum

Sons of Mystro Holiday Show

December 24 will be a Silent Night, still beautiful lights but without all the other activities.
