Local Election Winners: Three Incumbents and Three New Faces

Tallahassee Mayor

Mayor John Dailey held off a challenge from Leon County Commissioner Kristin Dozier, winning by just under 4,000 votes.

Leon County Commission

Incumbent Leon County Commissioner Nick Maddox won re-election over Josh Johnson. Also, two new faces will be introduced later this month to fill the seats vacated by Dozier (District 5) and the untimely death of Commissioner Jimbo Jackson (District 2).

Leon County School Board

Leon County School Board member Darryl Jones won re-election and Laurie Cox will replace Dee Dee Rasmussen who resigned before completing her term.

  1. Yep, no change. The gots keep getting, the not gots keep not getting. Way to go all you NE gots, you supported Dailey and the local republican party’s trashing of Dozier to prevent the not gots from getting desperately needed infrastructure improvements in the future. You secured the future gor the gots, like FSU boosters, Boulos and Ghazvinis continue getting to the detriment of the rest of us.
