On Tuesday, November 29, the Network of Entrepreneurs and Business Advocates (NEBA) will host Keith Bowers – the director of the Office of Economic Vitality – at their last lunch meeting of the year at Capital City Club from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm.
In a press release NEBA notes that “after 12 years helping businesses grow as regional director of the Small Business Development Center, Keith is now leading OEV’s efforts to build a strong and diverse local economy.”
Mr. Bowers graduated from Florida A&M University in 1989 and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. He served in the United States Army Reserves as Captain and Adjutant General of the Joint Detention Operations Group in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and also Captain and Commander of U.S. Army Postal Operations in Bosnia.
Mr. Bowers is married to Valerie, his wife of 16 years, and they have a 15-year-old son, Wynton.
The Cost for the luncheon is $20 for NEBA members and $30 for guests. The lunch buffet opens at 11:30 am and the program starts at 12:00 pm.
