  1. @ Joe – can large operations and governments keep a set of blank servers, do a full backup each night, then when a hacker gets in trash the infected servers and load the last clean backup onto the set of blank servers always on standby?

  2. Skeptic: Not sure a hacker got in. It may be that they were invited in by a phishing email. All it takes is 1 person to fall for it, and the “payload” can be deployed. TMH could have done EVERYTHING right, and still they’d be vulnerable

  3. TMH should be drawn, quartered, and quartered again.

In today’s world, there are too many bad actors willing to jeopardize people’s lives for ill-gotten paydays. Hospitals are a high priority target in that their disruption can cause mass chaos, many millions in lost revenue, and loss of trust by the community.

For a hacker to get through to do this damage is on them. That they weren’t equipped to recover for it in just hours is unforgivable.
