Leon County Schools Lesson on Avoiding STD’s Raises Concerns Among Parents, Officials

At the March 7th Leon County School Board meeting, school officials delayed the adoption of the proposed Human Growth & Development curriculum due to concerns of some parents and school board members.

One of the concerns related to a lesson included for seventh graders (12-13 year-old’s) which addressed ways to avoid Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD’s).

The lesson provided a table – shown below – which identified activities and the associated risks for STD’s.

The activities associated with a high risk for STD’s included unprotected vaginal sex, anal sex and oral sex.

The lesson informs the seventh graders that low risk for STD’s was associated with using a condom when engaging in vaginal and anal sex. The lesson also informed that oral sex could be low risk if “using a latex barrier or cut-open condom correctly.”

The lesson indicates that activities associated with no risk for STD’s include bathing together, mutual or solo masturbation, and abstinence.

The lesson also notes that masturbation and mutual masturbation are “important because they can help people learn about their bodies and build connection between people without any risk of STDs.”

One parent that spoke at the hearing indicated that the curriculum was normalizing sexual activity for seventh graders.

During the meeting, the Board agreed to further review the proposed curriculum.

  1. “One of the concerns related to a lesson included for seventh graders (12-13 year-old’s) which addressed ways to avoid Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD’s).”

It’s correctly spelled as “STDs”, not “STD’s”. You do not use an apostrophe to designate plurality unless to avoid misreading or for use in numbers e.g. 1960’s. Please fire your copy editor.

  2. Great post Edward its like you can cut thru the fluff and read the twisted, peverted, pedophillic true intent of “ROCKY AND THE GROOMERS”.
“Rocky and The Groomers” appearing daily at a Leon County School near you!!!!!!!

  3. Once again, the devil is in the details. This is yet another surreptitious way the twisted groomers on the left are attempting to normalize the depravity of unnatural and unhealthy sexual behavior, and sexualize children in an effort to grow their numbers. Adults are much harder, if not damn near impossible, to turn to their perverted ways. This is why they are targeting the impressionable and malleable minds of children in the Public Indoctrination System.

Notice how holding hands and abstinence are at the bottom of the list, thus indicating these are a “last resort”. Notice how anal sex, oral sex, and mutual masturbation are normalized and almost encouraged so long as you use protection. And the whole “bathing together” concept must have come directly from the Dementia Patient Resident Pedo, as he often bathed with his prepubescent daughter – by her own admission mind you. The only thing missing from this proposed lesson is a front matter dedication written by Mayor Pothole Pete.

Again, parents… if you care at all about the safety and security of your children, get them the hell out of the Public Indoctrination System as fast as possible.

  4. I remember. being in the seventh grade, no seventh grader worth his salt needs a teacher to encourage them to spank willie. Trust me…
No good can come of this. Seventh grade is pivotal, if a kid is going to go off the rails you usually know it by the seventh grade. Jill and lil Johnny don’t need to be told its ok to sit in the back of the bus and pleasure each other on the way home. Especially in the seventh grade.
