Another conservative congressman has officially endorsed Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for president in 2024, even though DeSantis has yet to formally announce any sort of candidacy for any post. This time, Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie is endorsing DeSantis. “I’ve been honored to call Ron DeSantis a friend for over a decade,” Massey added. “During the six years we served together in Congress, I witnessed Ron fight for economic freedom, personal liberty, fiscal responsibility and constitutionally limited government.”

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former President Donald Trump are both slated to be headline speakers at next month’s NRA annual forum. Other speakers include: former Vice President Mike Pence, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu and former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson. Haley and Hutchinson have announced their candidacy for the GOP presidential ticket in 2024.

  1. You got to ease up on Little Ron and Corey Simon. Did Simon win because he was a Conservative and Lorrane Ausley was a Liberal? Or did Simon win because he was Black?

Desantas should have his staff respond to constituent letters. If Little Ron sought feedback, the Concealled Carry Bill would have been better. And why an Affordable Housing Bill…that is a Liberal Agenda Item.

  2. Lil Ron fights for limiting personal liberty, spending our money to fly other state’s immigrants, and limiting the constitutional rights of many, while expanding his rule of locally elected govenment bodies. Lil Despot is his real name.
And I’m a centrist republican, not a brainwashed, democrat hating, misogynist and racist one.

  3. Wish they would make Barney Bishop the chair of the board of the CSC so his first official act would be to make a motion to shut it down. If I am not mistaken I believe the Leon County Commission has the power to shut it down

Barney Bishop did valiantly promote that the CSC was NOT a benefit for taxpayers or citizens. He was unequivocally undeniably correct.

  4. Reference: “Gun violence, affordable housing and creating jobs with a livable wage”

This is the classic, “I want my cake and eat it, too”.

Liberals do not want the Black Community filling the jails and prisons, (or voting for conservatives) so they refuse to charge them with crimes. The result is more crime. Not that there are some nasty white folks incarcerated that deserve to be. But for the most part, the majority of crime in our Country is committed by African Americans.

The lack of affordable housing is the direct result of Democrat policies. You do not buy rental property to lose money. Biden’s continued interest rate increases results in higher mortgage rates. And to make a profit, you pass that increase on to the renter. Guess what happens when property taxes and insurance rates increase? So does rental rates.

And do you really believe a 4-year degree in Lesbian Dance Theory pays more than frying chicken for the Colonel?

And speaking of the Colonel, now Democrats make him pay $15.00 an hour in salary for every employee. And look at Ray Kroc’s “Golden Arc Supper Club” also known as McDonalds is on the verge of extinction. Why pay over $10 for a Number Three only to get poor service from an employee with 3-inch nails picking her weave waiting for your debit card to process. Not me.

5-million new illegal immigrants that will dominate construction jobs, farm jobs, food service jobs and tons more industries that will eliminate jobs that our lesser educated citizens. In my community, Hispanics are hardworking, very polite and speak English better than a lot of our citizens.

I have very little sympathy for families and individuals that made poor decisions over and over. Democrats believe in throwing money at every problem. How can you help someone with 12 kids and a 7-grade education earn a “livable wage”? You cannot. It is time for everyone to “man up” and accept your plight in life because you chose it.

When you voted Democrat, you voted for all this and more.

Democrat Politicians and their supporters made this mess. Until our community is run by conservative leadership, expect crime to get worse, your cost of living to increase, and more people living off government subsidies.

On the bright side, at least you can ride in a billion-dollar electric bus compliments of the taxpayer.

  5. ?BAM? ?KAPOW? ?KABOOM? ?BIFF? ?KAZOOEY?
Local Hero and proponant of Truth, Justice, and The American Way, Barney Bishop III, slaps down an ill informed local anoying villanous petty fool which the illiberal local voter base keeps foolishly electing to the School Board.
Dont believe what you just read? Just click the link at the top of local truth newsman Steve Stewart’s award winning article to bear witness to Barney Bishop’s well written slap down response to that villanous petty fool local voters keep on and on foolishly reelecting again and again.
    Kick the fool again Barney!
    ?KAZOOEY?
