Sources tell TR that Bill Ragans will be named the new Chiles High School football coach. He will replace Kevin Pettis who was removed after a lengthy investigation related to the treatment of players. Ragans is currently listed as the Chiles High School football team defensive coordinator.
On July 11th, the Leon County Commission will consider an item that seeks Board approval of the 2024 FY Community Human Services Partnership (CHSP) grant in the amount of $2,298,700 and recommended allocations. The grant represents year two of the current two-year funding cycle.
