Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is taking more shots at former President Donald Trump saying his views on abortion are out of step with what pro-life voters want. “I think that if you have something where you have a baby that has a detectable heartbeat, if you’re pro-life, you would want to say that there should be protections there,” he said. “And if he’s saying, ‘That’s a terrible thing,’ I know most pro-life voters would think that he’s wrong.”

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis made a campaign promise that he will get gas prices back down to around $2.00 per gallon as part of his new plan for energy independence. “As president, I will be laser-focused on reducing gas prices and energy costs,” DeSantis said. “We will unleash American energy dominance as a way to stop inflation and achieve $2 gas in 2025.”

The Seminole Gaming Compact signed by the Florida Legislature in 2021 granting the Seminole Tribe of Florida near exclusive sports-betting rights is heading to the U.S. Supreme Court. The lawsuit by West Flagler Associates and Fort Myers Corporation, a corporation doing business as Bonita Springs Poker Room in Southwest Florida, argued the decision conflicts with other appellate rulings and “enables an extreme shift in public policy on legalized gaming that, once started, may be difficult to stop.”

  1. Ron DeSantis needs to remove John Dailey from office for violating sunshine. Giving $1.8 million to your campaign managers liquor distillery, check please!!!

  2. @ NE Moderate = I posted twice on the other page about who owns SOMO and it wont go through, I guess because I listed my source so when I get home tonight I will try to post the actual Info here, it will open your Eyes for sure. The FBI may need to just set up a Sub Station in City Hall.

  3. The SOMO giveaway will help Curtis lose along with the property tax increase, and make sure Dianne is not viable for mayor in 2026. Conservatives do not want this, Blueprint and CSC taxes should be repealed and actually might be. Time for the feds to start looking at city hall again, if they ever stopped

  4. Jefferson County can NOT afford to lose $800,000, hit those three HARD.

When it comes to Crime in Tallahassee, the NEW slogan should be = “YOU WILL GET CAUGHT”.

Hey DeSantis, if you plan to get Gas back down to under $3, a very cool young Lady once said = “DRILL BABY DRILL”. Take that advice.
