  1. I’m 68 years old. I was in 8th grade when some students started to get away with things that should not have been tolerated in classrooms.
I can’t imagine what teachers are facing now.

  2. The treasonous Dementia Patient, his Marxist Democrat Party, the Public Indoctrination System, and the MEDIA PACs built this.

  3. The police report for this neighborhood indicates that there are frequent assaults at Cobb School. I assume that is student to student. Discipline is a thing of the past.

  4. The School Boards have a lot to do with how the Kids act in School. When they removed the Paddle from the Class Room, the Teachers lost.

  5. My 5th grade teacher was my favorite of all time. He motivated the kids in his class, challenged them to be better, and put a lot of my class on a path to success. But the school system didn’t like his approach of catering to the 24 kids he felt he could reach and transferred him out because the 6 slower kids weren’t getting enough attention.

After transferring he taught math to junior high kids. One of his “new” kids had a really bad attitude. The kids was disruptive, not the sharpest tack in the box, and sought attention. One day he decided to prove how “important” he was and challenged the teacher. The kid came up to the front of the class, challenged him, and threw a punch. Bad move. The teacher blocked the punch and instinctively put a fist on the kid’s chin. Clearly self defense and 30 kids in class swore to that. But the teacher was fired. I still wonder how many kids were denied the opportunity to be taught by him and to understand more than they thought possible.
