Capital City Preps Basketball Rankings Led by Florida High, Rickards

The latest Capital City Preps high school basketball rankings have the Florida High Seminoles boys team and the Rickards Raiders girls team in the top position. The rankings of the Capital City area teams are based on data compiled by MaxPreps and was updated on January 15.

For the girls rankings, there is a top 3 of Rickards (13-4), Lincoln (12-3) & Godby (11-5). Rickards is the only Capital City Preps girls team ranked in the top ten in the state in their respective class (5A, 5).

The top ranked Raiders are scheduled to face Chiles on January 23, Godby on January 25 and Leon on January 30.

For the boys rankings, there was a change at the top since the last release. The FSU High School Seminole replaced the Rickards Raiders as the number one team in the Capital City area.

The rankings were led by Florida High (13-4), Rickards (12-5), Lincoln (12-3) & Godby (9-6). Rickards is the only Capital City Preps boys team ranked in the top ten in the state in their respective class (5A, 9).

The top ranked Florida High Seminoles will face top ranked teams in the coming weeks. They will host Rickards on January 23, play at Godby on January 30, and will finish the season at Lincoln on February 2.
