Court Directs Law Enforcment Agencies Not to Enforce Florida Immigration Law

Via a directive from U.S District Court, State Attorney Jack Campbell has notified the ‘Second Circuit law enforcement community” that they should take “no steps to enforce Sections 811.02 and 811.103” of the Florida Statutes.

The “law enforcement community” includes 23 agencies.

The referenced Florida Statute created state crimes for undocumented immigrants who enter or re-enter Florida.

Pointing to the federal government’s power to regulate immigration, a U.S. district judge temporarily blocked the new Florida law aimed at cracking down on undocumented immigrants.

U.S. District Court Judge Kathleen Williams wrote that the plaintiffs “persuasively posit that SB 4-C (the law) unlawfully encroaches” on federal power to control immigration. She also cited details of the law, such as its requirements that people convicted of illegally entering the state face nine-month prison terms and longer sentences for subsequent convictions.

Campbell’s letter is provided below.

  1. From Ballotopedia:
Kathleen M. Williams is a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. She joined the court in 2011 after an appointment from Barack Obama.

So, she’s a cog in the “fundamental transformation of America.”

    Am I’m “astounded” at her.

  2. “Noone is above the law” if a democrat likes the law. If they don’t like it, you are free to break it without fear of Jack Campbell… wow.

  3. Our courts are a joke anymore.
Why pay trillions a for government if they have no say and the crooked judges want to rule everything.
If it was us breaking the law we’d be in jail.but Democrats and illegals get nothing

  4. I have said for Years that Campbell needs to go. ALL Law Enforcement Agencies are to help other Agencies to up hold the Laws. Entering the US illegally is a CRIME.
