It appears that Tallahassee City Commissioner Jack Porter has engaged with a national political consulting firm to promote her position on immigration policy. Details.

TPD crime incident numbers for February 2026 are in. The numbers show that year-to-date (YTD) property crime and violent crime incidents are up 18.6% when compared to YTD numbers in February 2025. Details.

Gas prices have jumped nearly 60 cents in Florida since ongoing U.S. and Israel strikes on Iran started just over a week ago.

The House voted unanimously Monday to back the measure (SB 382) that in part would require e-bike operators to slow to 10 mph when within 50 feet of a pedestrian on sidewalks and other shared pathways.
