Dick Durbin, who has held the seat since 1997 and is the No. 2 Senate Democrat. Stratton, Illinois’ first Black lieutenant governor and a key ally of Gov. JB Pritzker (D), will face former state Republican Party chair Don Tracy in November.

I think this is a first for me. I agree with everything everyone said in the posts below.
Thanks to all for stating a lot of common sense!
“… the Leon County School Board has added 47 School Administrator positions over a 6-year period while the number of students declined and the number of teachers were reduced.”
That’s all anyone needs to read to explain the dysfunction and failure of our Public Indoctrination System. As each day passes, more and more parents are realizing the failure of our PIS and the damage they’re doing to our children and our future. It’s time to “reimagine” our education system and get politics and ideology OUT of the system or face perpetual waste and failure.
Senate votes to open debate on the SAVE America Act?? What is there to Debate? Do you plan to CHEAT? NO? Then PASS IT. If you are Against the Save Act, you are against Fair Elections.
Tell me this, are the Kids doing BETTER in all Subjects in Charter Schools than they were in Public Schools?
IF the Kids are doing better in Charter Schools, WHAT are Charter Schools doing that Public Schools are NOT doing?
Even with less students and a smaller budget the dollars per student are actually up from $20,800(’23) to $21,500(’26). LCS needs to learn how to operate within their means.
The people of Leon County deserve the school board they elect. The dumb just get dumber.
