It’s been one year since 12-year-old Lori Paige went missing. She was last seen on Tallahassee’s Northwest side near Ocala Road. Since then, her 13th birthday has come and gone, but the family says there’s still no sign of her. WFSU’s Adrian Andrews spoke with Tallahassee’s Police Chief Lawrence Revell on Monday, the one-year anniversary of Paige’s disappearance.
Five months into 2024, the number of crime incidents reported by the Tallahassee Police Department remain down when compared to 2023. However, during the four days after the May 10 storm – when three tornadoes that moved through Tallahassee – property crime spiked, increasing by 50% when compared to the monthly average.
