Katherine Magbanua is being brought back to Tallahassee. A judge has ordered Magbanua return to Tallahassee to answer questions in a closed-door session with prosecutors called a proffer. Her proffer is taking place just two days before Charlie Adelson is expected to make his next appearance in court on December 2. Some have speculated that Magbanua may be sharing information about the Adelson family in the hopes of reducing her sentence. She is currently facing a life sentence in the murder-for-hire plot of FSU professor Dan Markel.

Florida News

Yesterday Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis attempted to quench rumors of a growing GOP “civil war” over their preference between he or former President Donald Trump. DeSantis said, “People just need to chill out a little bit on some of this stuff.” He reiterated that the GOP ought to be focused on the Senate runoff election in Georgia and that he is continuing to focus making Florida one of the national leaders and a model for freedom. Former President Trump announced his candidacy for president in 2024 Tuesday night.

The Melbourne, Florida-based group Moms for Liberty (MFL) slammed the National Education Association over a post on social media saying that teachers know best what students need to learn and to thrive. Moms for Liberty said they would be fine with partnering with some of the largest teachers’ unions but “WE DO NOT CO-PARENT WITH the NEA, AFT (American Federation of Teachers), School Boards or any government entity.” MFL launched and grew in the wake of COVID mandates in schools, and teachers’ unions advocating to keep schools closed.

Florida Sen. Rick Scott lost to Kentucky Sen. Mitch McConnell for the Senate Minority leader election among the Senate Republicans. According to a secret vote, only 10 GOP senators voted for Scott. Scott announced earlier this week his intentions for oust McConnell from head of the Senate Republicans.

  1. I looked up this Biro character. Green hair, covered in body tats, and cow bling in her nose… who didn’t see this coming.

    Disband the entire sham

  2. Listened to the interview between Steve and Matlow. Matlow argued that Biro is entitled to her opinion and to free speech; of course she is. The issue is does she deserve to be on the CPRB. She is not entitled to that.

I know if I went before a review board (of some kind) and one of the board members had a mug with a derogatory slogan against women, I wouldn’t feel good about my chances of getting a fair outcome. It’s common sense.

  3. Steve, thanks for the sh. ow.
    WOW. Jeremy Matlow is scary.
He mentioned the seven CPRB members, described them as volunteers and private citizens. True, but if you are going to volunteer for a board in a public entity you are going to open yourself to scrutiny.
Matlow saying that they are “not paid” is a huge deflection. I have attended many board meetings and that is always the response when a board member is scrutinized, they cry “I am not paid for this!” This plea for sympathy does not fly. It almost screams victimhood.

Another item, Matlow described “chaos” in city hall. All I can say is that you are not the answer to “chaos” in city hall. Jeremy does not seem capable of solving anything, just making accusations.

  4. Admission – I voted for Matlow. I was hoping he would be a voice against corruption. I now have a voice for a different kind of corruption. A voice against every value I have.

Seems I always have local choices of democratic smarmy puffery or corruption. Now I have a new choice in extreme progressivism.

I would NEVER vote for Jeremy Matlow again.

  5. Steve, in your interview this afternoon, please, discuss the goals of the defund/abolish the police movement. For instance, is the goal to eliminate local police and replace them with a Federal police force? I think that would be the end of our Country as we know it.

Also, please, don’t let the subject be changed to the FSU stadium vote. That has already been milked for all it’s worth.

    Thank you.

  6. I can’t believe they are STILL working on the CSX railway overpass on Apalachee PKWY, how many YEARS has it been? Why does it take so long to get any DOT type work done in Tallahassee. Is Richview open yet, its been about 2 Years now.

I thought the Review Bored was to look at the Complaints and see if they actually have merit and if so, see what solutions they can come up with to correct the issue and make suggestions that can help the Officers become better at their Jobs, NOT tear them down.

  7. The mug incident is indefensible.

City Commissioner Matlow’s time would be better spent questioning taxpayer dollars being spent on the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce out of town events. If Government entities want to attend that event they should attend on their own dime not the taxpayers. I would like to see this discussion on the agenda. I believe Tallahassee and Leon County are ready for this discussion.

  8. Jeremy Sadlow exposed the reality of the two progressives Marxicrats current sitting on our Commission. The two are anti-civil society, and pro-criminal society. They hate law enforcement, and love law breakers. Neither of the two have any interest whatsoever in working for and/or serving the citizens of Tallahassee. These are divisive hate-filled Marxicrats who see the downfall of our city. They proved that when the partnered with another Marxicrat in an unprecedented attempt a takedown of one of their Commission colleagues.

Neither are there to serve us. They are there to support and attempt to further the progressive Marxicrat agenda of DtA (Death to America). That may seem a bit terse to some… but the truth often is.

  9. Woke leftist cop hater leader Jeremy Matlow in full damage control.

“DEFCON 1 DEFCON 1” “THIS IS NO DRILL”

“We’ve whizzed off a Democratic supporting local Union!”

“DEFCON 1 – BATTLE STATIONS – BATTLE STATIONS – PISTOLS COCKED AND READY TO FIRE”!!!

“I dont know how I’m going to spin us out of this, but book me on the Steve Stuart Show at Noon tomorrow, and I shall think up some cock and bull spin before showtime! If only we had Karine Jean-Pierre here to ‘splain it to the voting sheeple.”

  10. Matlow should write a book titled “How to win thousands of votes and then flush them down the toilet”.
Because I was gonna vote for the old boy for opposing giving Blueprint money to FSU, then he defended a guy that brought a coffee mug to a meeting with the most vulgar message for the police. And coffee mug guy is not just any guy, he’s on the police review board! Jerry thought it was funny and made a stupid analogy defending it.

Jeremy obviously hates law enforcement if he’s Ok with that. All leftists hate cops…until they need one.
