Former Citizens Police Review Board member Taylor Biro is suing the City of Tallahassee over her removal from the board. Biro is claiming her First Amendment rights were violated and she was denied “her constitutional right to critique law enforcement and place a sticker on her cup.” By her statement, Biro admits there was, in fact, a sticker on her cup and Tallahassee Reports obtained an image of the mug that read “Abolish Police.”

Leon County Schools announced they would be making changes to their LGBTQ guide in the new year. The State Board of Education said the school district will have to update their guidelines in order to comply with the new Parental Rights in Education bill signed into law earlier this year. The new law states that if a school notices a change in the student’s “mental, emotional, or physical health or well-being,” the parents are to be notified. In response, Rocky Hanna said “Unless the child is in mental crisis, we don’t believe that we have to disclose that information and that the student has a right to privacy.”

The world’s most advanced magnet lab will keep its Tallahassee address for at least another 5 years. The National High Magnetic Field Laboratory has received its basic 5 year funding from the National Science Foundation.
The big news came from Mag Lab Director Greg Boebinger. “I’m pleased to say that the funding for the next five years of the Magnet Lab operations is in place now. And that’s the excitement over the past few days.”

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio worked with other lawmakers to unveil bipartisan legislation that will ban TikTok amid fears the app is being used by the Chinese-owned company ByteDance to track Americans. Members of Congress are already not permitted to have the app on their phones. A number of other states have already passed measures that prevent their lawmakers from downloading the app. Additionally, the bill would block all transactions from any social media company in or under the influence of China and Russia.

  1. Ya know when it comes down to who is really to blame for all the groomer pedophile stuff going on in schools its really your neighbors and most Leon/Tally voters. Look out your window at your neighbors they are likely some sick freaks.

  2. There would not have had to be a Parental Rights in Education bill were it not for the School Systems instituting craziness like trans indoctrination and creating an LGBTQ guide in the first place. None of this insanity belongs in K-12 public schools. If you are incapable of successfully teaching children how to read, write, and do arithmetic at grade level – as data shows to be the case – then you certainly have no standing whatsoever to profess to be able to determine a child’s phycological condition or gender preference status. Moreover, none of you have the right to hide anything from a child’s parent.

Groomers use semantics and emotional manipulation to get to our children. They use to use phrases like, “shhh, this is our little secret’ and “don’t tell your parents or they’ll be mad at you”… now they use more sophisticated legalese sounding phrases like, “your parents don’t have a right to know” and “you have a right to privacy”

It’s getting more and more twisted and blatant by the day. I remember when people were mocked and maligned for suggesting that gay marriage was a slippery slope… well, look where we are now.

  3. I’m the last person to defend Rocky but what if a teacher notices a mental change in a student BECAUSE their parents are wacko libs who are trying to tell them they’re trans or some such? That thought caused me to pause – in that case, I guess I’d want this rule. But in general, this is obviously a cover up for teachers who want to indoctrinate. Whatever happens with my kids is ALWAYS my business and in my opinion, they don’t have the right to privacy there.

  4. A School has NO RIGHT to talk Sexual Desires to Children, ever. Sex Ed is for teaching what Male Body Parts are, Female Body Parts are and how a Baby is created, NOT how Gays have Sex or what a Transgender is. There are Parents, REAL Doctors and even Video’s on the Internet for that.

  5. Amid fears the app Tic-Toc is being used by the Chinese-owned company ByteDance to track Americans?

When it was first released into this Country, CHINA came right out and said that, THAT is what it was created for, to gather Intel. They openly admitted to it because they KNEW that every one will get on it and use it daily because it is FREE. That is why I am not on it and never will be.

  6. I knew Bill Montford personally. We disagreed a lot about politics, (he never met a tax hike that he didn’t like), but I always thought that he was well intended.

Since Bill retired, I don’t believe that we’ve had anyone else occupy that chair with the understanding that kids and parents come first.

  7. Rocky thinks he knows better than parents what healthcare minor children need…your minor children. The Governor should remove him.
