  1. People talk as though the good ol’ boy network never passed up a better qualified person to hire a buddy’s son, grandson or nephew. White guys practically invented nepotism and crony capitalism, so don’t act like DEI is the only or biggest evil at the table.

  2. To Proud Rural Redneck: D.E.I and FAA almost created the perfect storm or crash. Mr. Washington was the Biden Nominee for Director of the FAA. See You tube — Biden FAA nomination completely fails basic flying test. This nominee had absolutely no knowledge of aviation. And thankfully after being embarrassed by a couple of “our” Senators, he withdrew his nomination. ” Mr. Washington,do you know what Tango or Fox refers too ?”
    Help us all !

  3. “Harvard President Claudine Gay resigned yesterday.”

In my opinion, her appointment and tenure exemplify the problems with Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Just like with the appointments of Rachel/Richard Levine and Pete Buttigieg, Gay’s appointment had nothing to do with appointing the best candidate the institution could find. Her appointment was about appointing some one of specific race or class. In my opinion, D.E.I got her appointed and D.E.I. kept her employed. D.E.I. provides an excuse for hiring…it is more important to hire a black female than a white guy. And it provided the excuse for failure, we knew you were not qualified when we hired you so we knew you wouldn’t be able to do the job.

This Country had better wake up. Education standards are lowering. For example, the local advertisement for colleges and technical schools stating no SAT/ACT exam required. It doesn’t matter if you are dumber than a sack of hammers, you can be (insert profession). Harvard, once a very prestigious University, employed a Dean who lied/plagiarized her college works and even today is being retained in their employ.

Worry about D.E.I. being a part of the education your Medical Doctor received. Or how about the pilot flying the Airliner you are on? Better yet, let’s get D.E.I. involved in training our Air Traffic Controllers.

    Stop rewarding mediocracy.

  4. When it comes to Tourism in Tallahassee, some how $1.35 billion in revenue in 2023 was generated with 2.3 million people visiting last year. My question is simple: Did the City and County spend any Tax Dollars on any Advertising to get people to come here or were they already coming here or passing through? Why did they come here, was it College Sports and the Cross Country Event that happens here?
